“Clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, kitchen area offered a microwave, kettle and fridge with plenty of cutlery and crockery. Despite being close to the road the room was surprisingly quiet. Good location for exploring Bedlington and surrounding areas.”

“I booked the apartment because it was the only one with 2 single beds on Expedia website, unfortunately it wasn’t when we got there. I didn’t see the small print about leaving a deposit (£150) when I paid for the 2 nights on Expedia app. The apartment was okay clean, but scratches on walls, doors and refrigerator, and I had to take videos as evidence just to avoid getting claims from the management, the boiler didn’t work so I read through the instructions to reboot it just to get hot water. ……

“I stayed here previously last year but since then, standards of cleanliness and general upkeep seem to have fallen. In the bedroom, three of four pillows on the bed had brown marks on them; the dressing table chair had a long brown streaky stain on it (looked like 💩) and in the bathroom, there was no rubber seal on the bottom of the glass shower screen, so water poured out onto the floor when showering. Other minor cosmetic issues included missing tiles under the bathroom sink, and scuffs on……

“Great spot right in the center of Hexham, a short walk to shops, coffee, restaurants, the beautiful Hexham Abby and the town market, where we picked up snacks and fresh bread for a walk along Hadrian’s Wall on Market Day. Also a 2 minute walk from a car rental agency and on site parking, which allowed us to get to and from town via train from Newcastle, but still rent a car for a day trip out to the Northumbria coast to see Bamburgh Castle, the beaches and beach towns. The unit feels nearly……

“Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. ”
